Online Safety Review Tool Privacy Statement

This privacy statement provides information about the processing and the protection of your personal data.

Webwise collects and uses the information provided on a voluntary basis by educators by completing an online tool generating automatically a personalised report showing the aggregated results in a visual and interactive way for each individual school. The tool and the generated individual feedback report based on the data collected aims to support schools to review their Online Safety policy and practice. Each individual user, can access a history of his/her individual data collected to gauge progress and adapt the school’s review.

Anonymised statistical data deriving from the tool can be shared, provided that the educator gave his/her consent by accepting a relative statement before going through the tool. This data can be used to reflect on the school’s strengths, address gaps and access free supports and guidance to ensure a whole-school approach to online safety.

Webwise may use the aggregated data from the Online Safety Review Tool platform in the following ways:

Download aggregated and anonymised for analysis.
Produce public reports and presentations based on aggregated and anonymised data and its analysis.

Individual participants will never be identified in these reports and analyses. At no time will individual responses from the educators ever be shared or made public, or any aggregated data shared that might allow individual educators to be identified. No personal data is stored on the online safety tool, and users have the right to delete their account at any time
